Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame is a tribute to over 2000 artists from film, radio, recording industries, theatre and television. The individual artists name is set in a star made from marble and lined up al the way along both sides of the Hollywood Boulevard. On the 9th February in 1960 the first star was placed on the Boulevard, which was for Joanne Woodward. 

The Los Angeles Zoo, which is the city's third zoo. It was opened in 1966 and is home to over 1200 animals and is in total 113 acres large. The LA zoo is open from 10am till 6pm everyday and attracts over 1.4million visitors annually. In 1972, the zoo became a certified member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association 

Griffith Park, which has over 4,210 acres of land, this includes natural chaparral-covered terrain and landscaped parkland and picnic areas. The park is America's largest public park with urban wilderness and attracts over 10 million visitors a year. Colonel Griffith J. Griffith who was originally born in south Wales as a Christmas present gave Griffith Park to the people of LA.
